So then, one of those drawings I did on a receipt. I just wanted to draw that nose, to be honest, but I had to do something around it. Not sure all of what's going on here either, and she isn't anyone specific. Just wanted to draw a nose and a lady and tie it all in with my job.
Which is working at a sushi joint. Hence the fish-tail-like fan on her head. Also, this was all done in pen, no under drawing. Because I feel like I'm losing direction, and so I'm trying a bunch of new things to find it again.
(Also, I tried really hard to get rid of the way you can see through the receipt and see a bit of the words on the other side, but I couldn't without erasing too much detail from the picture, and it really doesn't hurt it that much so, eh.)
Uagg you're always so good at drawing hair and shit. I could never get that shit down right. Also , I really suck at pen drawings...I'm an erasing fanatic.
ReplyDeleteA good way to get rid of words or anything on another side, put black paper behind it, it only works if the words are actually behind the image though really. We use to do it all the time while mounting news paper in the frame shop.
Loosing direction is a bummer too :c
